August 7, 2010: It was only fitting that Manoj Manoharan, one the former FCCC players, put the final nail in the coffin on the day FRCC came of age with their first victory against FCCC in more than 10 years. First, Manoj produced a tight spell of lovely outswingers, probing the offside line consistently and taking two important wickets in his 7 overs for only 24 runs. In its chase, FRCC was 3 runs away from their first victory against FCCC and FCCC was 1 wicket away from what could be just another victory. With 11 balls remaining, Manoj lofts one over the covers and takes 2 runs, the game was tied. Even before anybody talked anything about a tie, he scores the winning run to trigger the celebrations for FRCC. Unfortunately, his batting is not caught on tape due to battery problems in the end.
