Playing in his rookie season and probably his second game of the season, Vinod Bhoj impressed all with his superb bowling performance against CSU. Chasing 207 runs, CSU were skittled for 23 runs thanks to Vinod's spell of 5 wickets for 9 runs. Suresh Kalakrishnan bowled well in tandem as well to scalp 4 wickets. DSCC did not need more than 2 bowlers to come up with this victory.

According to the DSCC Captain, Sunny Ramesh, "This win was by far the most convincing win in Denver Sluggers History."
