Tennis Weekly T20 League Match Reports

Sunday 7/25/2010 Crazy Cricketers vs Anchors at Cornerstone Park, Littleton - Reported by Babu(Crazy Cricketers)

Crazy Cricketers won the toss and put Anchors into bat. A high disciplined bowling from Crazy Cricketers restricted Anchors to 59 all out in the 19th over. Good bowling from Crazy Cricketers by Raj, Chetan, Uppu, Venkat, Don and Babu.

Crazy Cricketers lost early wickets but Vamsi and Babu stabilized the innings and went on to hit the winning runs in the 13th over.

Babu was declared the man of the match. Outstanding overall performance by Crazy Cricketers.


Sunday 7/25/2010 Warriors vs Orchards at Memorial Park, Colorado Springs - Reported by Manoj Gangwar(Orchards)

Orchards won the toss and elected to field. Warriors were bowled out for 42 in 16.1 overs with Mrugesh picking up 3 wickets and Amulya and Imran picked up 2 wickets each.

Orchards achieved the target in 10.1 overs losing 2 wickets. Mrugesh scored 26 not out.

Man of the Match was Mrugesh Patel for scoreing 26* and picking up 3 wickets.

Sunday 7/25/2010 Spartans vs Kangaroos at Memorial Park, Colorado Springs - Reported by Pavan Kondepudi(Spartans)

Spartans won the toss and elected to field. Shankar (22) and SeshNag (22) gave a brilliant start to Kangaroos. They scored 46 in first 10 overs losing only 2 wickets. After the break, Spartans bounced back taking wickets at regular intervals and finally restricted them to 85/9 in 20 overs. Prashanth was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 wickets and giving away only 9 runs in 4 overs. And very well supported by Rajeev (3 wickets) and Satish (2 wickets).

Spartans started the chase by losing 2 quick wickets with 17 on the board. Sumeet who was in good touch got out to a brilliant single handed catch at the 3rd man boundary by Radha. Kishore stabilized the innigs by scoring a quick 31 off 30 balls and Spartans were able to reach the target in just 14.1 overs. Very well supported by Venu (17) and Charan(14). For Kangaroos, Ilias, Sampath and Radha took a wicket each.

Men of the Match: Kishore and Prashanth Yerramilli.

Sunday 7/25/2010 Denver Tigers vs Rockers at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Tushar Udeshi(Denver Tigers)

Rockers won the toss and elected to field. Denver Tigers scored 136/9 in 20 overs. Ravi scored 52 runs for Tigers while Shobhit picked up 3 wickets for Rockers.

Rockers were 57/9 in 20 overs. Vanesh was 21 not out for Rockers. Abhijit picked up 2 wickets for Tigers.

Man of the Match was Ravi from Denver Tigers for scoring 52 runs.

Sunday 7/25/2010 Buffs vs Challengers at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Ravi Narayanan(Challengers)

Toss: Challengers won the toss and elected to bowl. Buffs XI were all out on 79 in 19.4 overs. Mangesh took 3 wickets while Ravi and Purvesh picked 2 each. Abhishek made 19 runs.

Challengers chased down the target in 18 overs (81/5) with 5 wickets to spare. Ravi was the top scorer with 29 runs while Venkat made 14 and Pramod 12.

Ravi was decleared MOM.

Sunday 7/25/2010 CAS vs Prime Contenders at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Girish Mahadevan(Prime Contenders)

CAS won the toss and opted to bat, Ashok and Samrat got CAS off to a flyer scoring 22 in the first 3, PrimeContenders came back with some good bowling and fielding to restrict CAS to 73 in 20 overs. All the bowlers chipped in with wickets.

Prime Contenders started off the chase for 74 runs with a good opening partnership between Jimi and Priyesh. After they fell, Bhupinder stepped in and scored a quick 29 off 24 to give Prime Contenders an 8 wkt victory with 7.2 overs to spare.

Man of the Match was Priyesh Sanghvi from Prime Contenders.
