Saturday 8/14/2010 Circle at Sunset vs Rockers at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Vanesh Kumar(Rockers)
CAS won the toss and chose to bat. Rockers bowled exceptionally well and restricted CAS to 33 runs in 14.2 overs. From Rockers Sudheer, Vanesh and Sarath bowled very good. Sudheer and Vanesh each took 3 wickets. Rockers also fielded well and took few good catches.
Rockers batted aggressively to improve their run rate and finished the game in 6 overs losing 1 wicket. Yuvaraj scored 20 runs for Rockers.
Man of the match was : Sudheer Kukala from Rockers
Saturday 8/14/2010 Warriors vs Anchors at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Ramesh Janipalli(Warriors)
Warriors choose to ball first after winning the toss Ravi was the pick of bowlers with 3 wickets for 9 runs in 4 overs . Good support was given to him by Kishore. Kangaroos we slow to start but picked up the pace later on the innings. Ravishastri Dixit was the top batsmen with 41 runs in 37 balls.
Warriors started there second inning slowly but steadily. Ram gave a good start and was carried on by Bhanu but Manohar was outstanding with 39 runs in 27 balls. But cant stop praising Bhanu for his invaluable innings at number 3 position.
Man of the match was Manohar Mangu for his match winning 39 runs
Saturday 8/14/2010 Orchards vs Buffs at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Manoj Gangwar(Orchards)
Denver Tigers won the toss and put Spartans to bat as expected.
Buffs won the toss and elected to bat first.Inspite of a good start from Zeeshan and Avinash, Buffs' batting collapsed to some good bowling from Orchards.Buffs were all out for 64 in 20 overs. Manoj was the pikc of the bowlers with 5 wickets.
Orchards chased down the target in 19.2 overs with 3 wickets to spare.Mrugesh played well for Orchards well suppoted by Manoj.The became pretty tight in the end coming down to the last over.
Man of the Match was Manoj Gangwar for 4-1-4-5.
Sunday 8/15/2010 Crazy Cricketers vs Rockies at Cornerstone Park, Littleton - Reported by Babu(Crazy Cricketers)
Rockies won the toss and chose to bat. A high disciplined bowling from Crazy Cricketers restricted Rockies to 57 all out in the 20th over. Good bowling from Crazy Cricketers by Uppu, Arpan, Ashish,Arun, Ajay, Don and Babu.
Crazy Cricketers lost early wickets but Satyajit and Kartik stabilized the innings. Rakesh went on to hit the winning runs in the 11th over.
Satyajit was declared the man of the match. Outstanding overall performance by Crazy Cricketers.
Sunday 8/15/2010 Challengers vs Spartans at Cornerstone Park, Littleton - Reported by Pavan Kondepudi(Spartans)
Spartans won the toss and elected to field. Challengers started solidly scoring 62 in first 10 and losing only 1 wicket. Even in the next 10 they continued the momentum and put up a very formidable score of 109 for Spartans to chase. Venkat from Challengers was top scorer with 42. For Spartans Guru took 2 wickets.
Spartans started the chase well and scored 48 in first 10 losing 1 wicket. Sunny and Vikas gave a good start. Challengers came back well in the next 10 and got some quick wickets and put Spartans under pressure. But some slog over big hitting from Sumeet helped Spartans win the game in 19.5 overs. A good all round batting performance from Spartans helped win a nail biting game.
Men of the Match were Sumeet (Spartans) and Venkat Raman (Challengers).
Sunday 8/15/2010 Denver Tigers vs Kangaroos at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Manish Dalwani(Denver Tigers)
Kangaroos won the toss and elected to bowl first.Denver Tigers scored 134/10 in 19.4 overs.Raja,Bharath and Tarak scored 36,33 and 34 respectively.Sampath took 5 wickets for kangaroos
Kangaroos scored 97/7 in 20 overs. Kari was their topscorer with 24 runs. Raja took 3 wickets for Tigers including a hattrick.
Man of the match was Raj Sundaram from Denver Tigers.
