Sunday 5/20/2012 Orchards vs WyoCC at Lower Garden Acres,Longmont - Reported by Manoj Gangwar(Orchards)
The morning started with the toss being won by WyoCC and taking the option to bat with the sun beaming strongly and not many clouds in the sky.
Nishant and Sateesh taking the field to open the batting for Wy. Both started pretty well against Orchards opening bowlers. There was some excellent batting throughout with a steady accumulation of runs from Nishant ( 37 ) and Sateesh ( 20 ).
Excellent bowling by Anand in the slog overs restricted Wy from big total.WY totalling 94 for 4 in their full 16 over allocation. The question was at the end whether there are enough runs on the board?
Amit and Rishubh were first to bat, and through methodical batting were able to cruise, With some lusty hitting by Imran and Rishubh on
track to an easy victory. Needing 20 runs of the last 4 overs, and with plenty of gaps in the field, Anand and Manas thought to end the game by one and and twos securing the eventual winning for Orchards
Imran adjudged Man of the Match for his 24 runs.
A job well done from the entire team – great effort. Orchards moving into Finals.

Royal Warriors won the toss and elected to field.Royal Warriors Won by 6 wickets.

Sunday 5/20/2012 Denver Chargers vs Crazy Cricketers at Country Field Park,Erie - Reported by Seshu Velpuri(Crazy Cricketers)
The home team was unable to get the stumps to ground and as a result game started at 2.55 pm. Umpires fined the home team with 2 over less to be bowled for them.
Crazy Cricketers won the toss and elected to bowl. Satya and Madhu started well hitting the ball everywhere with 11 runs in the 1st over. The partnership was broken at 21 and then couple of quick wickets fell. Dileep and Rishi took control with 48 runs partnership for next wickets. Dileep gave his wicket to Ravikiran after making 34, and Rishi was not out 26.
Denver Chargers ended up with defendable total of 99 for 5 in 16 overs.
In response, Crazy Cricketers never hesitated at any time in the game to achieve the target. The opening pair was good with a partnership of 16 runs. Arun and Rahul took the control where Crazy Cricketers always maintained 5 runs an over with singles and twos. Then 2 wickets fell, Rahul and Seshu had a partnership of 49 runs for 4th wicket. Denver Chargers bowled some loose balls with noballs and wides. Crazy Cricketers achieved the target 100 runs in 14.5 overs with just losing 4 wickets. Crazy Cricketers won by 6 wickets.
Rahul who scored unbeaten 44 was declared MOM.
