Summary: HCL tour of CCL

It was a fantastic weekend for Colorado Cricket. We won all of our games against the HCL team this last weekend. I would like to thank all of you that played a role in making this happen. Our team was well led by Misbah Rehman; we kept the pressure all the way towards the final game on Sunday afternoon convincingly winning all of our games. Many congratulations to CCL team members!!

We also hosted a banquet dinner for the visiting team and our team members, support staff and others that played a vital role in making this tour happen.
In keeping up with the tradition of honoring those who have played a significant role in promoting and administering Cricket development in Colorado, we honored Sam George of Coal Creek Cricket Club. Please check this link to see more details: Sam George - A True Oldie

We really appreciate LCC’s role in making this happen. They were able to allow us use their ground and other amenities during the tournament.

We appreciate Dhanesh Ruparel, Suresh Talatotti, Raj Chitikila & Raymond Mascarenhas for their help with umpiring for all these games.

We also appreciate Raja Prasad for arranging the banquet and for special prices for the rooms we booked for our team members / HCL team at Quality Inn, Globeville.

Last but not the least, we truly appreciate the Selection Committee for the CCL team, chaired by Manju Kumar, Team Manager; Shailesh Patel, coach and many other duties; Kithsri Diasabeygunawardena. Apart from these official roles they held, they were responsible for making this tour happen.

Apart from the names mentioned, many of you have helped in many ways, it’s hard to capture all the names here but we (EC / CACU) truly appreciate all your work towards making this tour happen. We do look forward to making many more future tours happen.
