Abhay is one of the most agile cricket players you are likely to meet. Can field anywhere, and is always looking to pounce and cause a runout. Abhay is the spearhead of CSCC bowling attack. With a smooth and fluid bowling action, he can generate surprising pace, swing and lift off the pitch. A handy lower order batsman, Abhay also kept wickets for the club for a couple of years.

His defining moment is a magical unbroken 10th wicket partnership of 52 with Shashi Chikkana to clinch the 2005 Knockout Final. He contributed 29 of the most pressure-cooked runs imaginable and the timeliest of sixes that gave a club the power to believe in miracles.
