Abbas is a right hand batsman and a right arm medium pace bowler. He has been in Colorado for almost 10 years and he joined the league in late 2007 season. By Profession he is a computer scientist and had finished his 2nd Masters from CU Denver.

He has played most of his cricket with tape ball on streets of Lahore or in crowded parks where it was hard to keep track of ball of own match. He started playing with the leather ball during his college and university life and this was back in mid 90s in Pakistan. His first contact with a guy playing leather ball cricket in Colorado was Salman Latif and joining RBCC was natural selection for him. He started in CCL as a fast bowler but then later turned into a medium pacer.

In RBCC, Abbas is one of the best in the batting crop. He is no doubt one of the most talented and skillful batsman RBCC has. His favorite cover and on drives are really like book shots. When it comes to playing the ball by the merit, he is really one of the best. He is one of RBCC silent tigers who is ready to roar soon as RBCC has a lot of expectations from him. Abbas is very optimistic and thoughtful cricketer who believes in RBCC chemistry "Play hard, enjoy and have fun in the game"...
