Continuing their dream run, Green beat a spirited FCCC in the finals of the first Twenty20 tournament.

Green scored 138 thanks to a superb 75 by Sameer Sawant. FCCC fell six runs short in the chase.

On Saturday Gold beat LCC by six wickets to earn the right to play FCCC for a spot in the finals. Kit continuing from the previous week, scored a quick 41 in 10 balls but then Rohit and Sam bowled tight to capture 3 wickets each and restrict LCC to 107. Then Afan with a quickfire 50 and Mosur (30 no) ensured Gold moved to the next round.

In the afternoon, once again Afan (37) and Mosur (20) starred with the bat to get Gold to 127 but some heroic batting by Gopal (50+) took FCCC past the target with 4 balls to spare. Mike Riley (24) ably supported Gopal in the run chase.

Congratulations to Green on winning the championship and a big thank you to everyone that helped in making this tournament a big success.
