Man of the Match:
Finals - Team Colorado Vs Arkansas @ CornerStone, Littleton 2:15pm 31-Aug-2014
Team Colorado was all set for this Finals, and were ready to go into bat had we won the toss with the intention of putting up a huge score on the board. Unfortunately, Arkansas won the toss and decided to bat.
A couple of big hits from Chirag(22), and the steadiness of Kalpesh(23*) were the only Arkansas batsmen that put up some resistance to get them to 68. There was some good catching & fielding shown by Team Colorado. Again the pick of the bowlers were Rohit Saini(3) and Jay Pathak & Kervyn picking 2 wickets a piece.
Some fiery bowling from Divya soon saw Akshay Shenvi bowled and back in the pavilion with only 3 runs on the board in the first over. Gaurav Mittal(17) played well along with Jay to keep the scoreboard ticking, until he was out. Ashish (14*) and Jay Pathak (25*) remained unbeaten, with Jay finishing up the chase with a four without any further loss.
Team Colorado beat Arkansas by 8 wickets, and lifted the Champions trophy.
Man of the Match: Jay Pathak for his overall performance.
